Mean People Suck....

Can I just say that I am really getting tired of defending Hcg.

It works. And when you finish, you make lifestyle changes, you eat better and exercise and thats how you dont put it all back on. JUST LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE!!!

People can put it down all they want all I know is that Im 50 pounds lighter and way healthier than I was on New Years Day. By this next New Years Im going to be healthier and fitter than I have ever been. Who cares how it came off??? As long as I commit to a healthier new me Im golden!

One more thing, why do people get offended if I sell Hcg??? Why wouldnt I want to share this with the world? I make a profit and they get to lose 20-30 pounds in a month?

Just had to get that off my chest.

HCG R2P2D24 199.0 = 21 lbs Released

Well I broke through the 200's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So this is what the 100's feel like? HAHAHA!

Im determined to lose another 4 pounds by Wednesday!!!! This is my goal! Why? Well here is my strategy.

Last round I lost 26 pounds. I want to PROVE that it can be done 2 rounds in a row. So much is said about how your second and third rounds of HCG may not be as successful. I disagree completely. I truly believe that if you take a 3 week break in between rounds you will have equal success.

The problem is..... I can think of 3-4 instances on this last round where I messed up:
  1. Four times I can clearly remember barely drinking 1 liter of water for my days consumption.
  2. I was using a Mexican Chile Salt product for half of the program not realizing it had sugar.
  3. I ate salmon one day. I COMPLETELY forgot it is a FORBIDDEN FISH!!! Yikes!
  4. I used sugar free Coffee Creamer for three mornings. It has oils... =-(

Now in spite of all that I still have awesome weight loss BUT I'm basically the guinnea pig for all my clients. I want to make sure I am encouraging you and setting a good example.

So for these last few days of the program I am going to be so careful and strict with myself. No more lazy attitudes!

Wish me luck!

HCG Still Maintaining!

Just checking in again!

Well I believe I am pretty ready to begin my next round of HCG. I have maintained my weight at about 215. This morning however I woke up to 216.6. This is not my first time bouncing around.

What I have learned during maintenance:
  • You CANNOT eat whatever you want. I say this because many people believe that because your metabolism is re-set that now you have some kind of immunity to weight gain. I don't blieve that is true. I truly believe that HCG is the solution to quick, and healthy weightloss. I also coach all my clients to begin to re-think their eating and exercise habits. It's like that old addage, "If you continue to so what you've always done, you will always have what you have always received."
  • You MUST, MUST, MUST continue your 2 liter water intake. This is a must and you need to resolve to make this a part of your everyday life.... FOREVEEERRRR! = )
  • You must exercise. Period. Im not saying you need to get a gym membership, but you might want to consider this investment in yourself. You truly need to begin atleast walking. I believe this is especially true in your first months of maintaining your new weight. Until you have completely changed your eating habits, you might fall back into some bad habits. This won't be as devistating to your new weight if you have added exercise.
  • When you begin Maintenance and then Lifelong Maintenance it is important to "introduce" carbs and sugars s-l-o-w-l-y. I have noticed a couple of things can happen when you don't take your time with this process, constipation, water retention, weight gain, and then lack of mental determination and focus. Constipation and water retention tend to happen for two reasons, a reaction almost like shock to change and in some cases the foods your eating maybe too fattening or may cause constipation. Another reason for this is not continuing your water intake and fruit snacks twice a day. Fruit and water has a great way of just keeping things moving and eliminating that "hungry" feeling. This is especially true the older you are. When our weight begins to get out of control (up 3+ pounds) we might panic or give up and feel "this is just like all the other times" and give in to our weight gain. DON'T!

Finally, I just have to say I am so excited about my progress. I really believe that because I know what to expect this next round, it may be easier. I also know that many times people believe they can manipulate the system because they have found "shortcuts". I don't believe in shortcuts but I do believe in experimenting. Which brings me to what I will do differently NEXT go round......

Check back for my next post to see what my NEW protocol will include!

HCG Day 21 of R1P3 - 215.3 total release 26 lbs

Okay so if you haven't noticed I have changed the way I title my posts. I'm trying to make them a little more understandable LOL.

For "newbies" to the HCG lingo here are a few translations:
R1P3 - translation - Round 1 Phase 3
VLCD - Very Low Calorie Diet
R1D21P3 - translation - Round 1 Day 21 of Phase 3, so for instance I have been on the protocol for 51 days (2 days phase 1 + 28 days of phase 2 + 21 days of phase 3 = 51 total days on the protocol.
T.O.M. = Time Of Month

Well enough of that little lesson.

I am still doing well. Today is day 3 of "T.O.M's" visit and I haven't gained any water weight but perhaps I have gained a pound but it doesn't really seem like it since I lost 2 more pounds last week.

So today on the www.HCGDietConnection.com website we have added a 65 page recipe book FREE. Come visit the site today!

HCG Day 12 - 213.6!!!! 28.0 lbs released R1P3

Little High Little Low!

What a ride this has been.... First I want to say that I feel like I don't really know my body anymore. I lost another 2 pounds. I'm not really trying to. I have actually been a little skittish about what I am eating. I think that when something seems too good to be true you sort of expect the bottom to fall out or to wake up and realize that the 28 pounds you have lost was just a dream! That is some real stinkin' thinkin!

I am making this portion of the protocol what I think it's supposed to be. I am eliminating starches and sugars. That being said, I don't believe I am supposed to eliminate ALL Carbs. I have eliminated Complex Carbs (starches). Basically I dont eat bread, grains, potato, and pastas.

I have been doing my best to stay away from all those obviously sugary foods. I do know that I have made a couple of mistakes when it comes to salad dressings. Basically my diet is protien and vegetables only.

I am doing my best to continue drinking my required water intake and my morning and afternoon fruits. I also have atleast 12oz. of green tea everyday.

I know some of the most satisfying food I eat is cheese but I try to remember that cheese is high in fat so I try to keep that as a snack once a day.

Struggle:
I DO want to have carbs. I know I am craving them. It is not an out of control craving BUT I do have to make myself "step away from the spaghetti Misty and no one gets hurt!" I think I am doing okay as far as sweets go. Would I like to eat some of those Valentines chocolates that were making their way around here yesterday? Yes! But....

I also am wondering if I am protien deficient. I am CRAVING meat like crrrazy. When I do I have a handful of nuts, or cheese, or some chicken breast and snack. That pretty much satisfies.

Mornings are hard for me. I DON'T KNOW WHY????!!!! I was never really a big breakfast eater much less anything more than a fruit or bowl of cereal. Now I really want the POWER BREAKFAST! Eggs, meat and toast! I have been trying to satisfy my morning hunger with fresh fruit and non-fat yogurt but I still feel lacking. Oh well...

Thanks you all for all the orders starting to come in to my little company. What is even more exciting are the results that are starting to come in. Congratulations Ashleigh, Mary, Lori! Keep it up!

HCG Day 20 - 220.6!!!! 21.0 lbs released R1P2

Helllllooooo Again!

It's been about 2 weeks since my last post SO sorry! =-(

Let me catch you up on my EXCITING journey. I have learned a lot from this experience and all the research I have been doing. So first things first.....

The Diet:
I have not cheated! Yeah really pretty amazing huh? I have had days when I didn't drink enough water or took my drops incorrectly. For the ladies, I didn't know that it is beneficial to start the protocol just after your menstrual cycle ends. I began my menstrual cycle a week and a half into phase 1, day 11 to be exact. Well I can at least tell you what to expect should you find yourself in this same predicament. My cycle usually last 7 days. During that time I had 3 days in which I stalled, then on day 4, I gained 1 pound. On day 5 I released that pound and I didn't begin losing again until the day after my cycle ended. Up until that point I had lost 17 pounds. The day after my menstrual cycle ended was Day 18 and I released 1 lb, on Day 19 I releases 1 lb and then today Day 20 I released 2 MORE POUNDS!!!!! YAY!

This is a big day for me, I have lost 10% of my weight and I have hit my first goal of 20 pounds, 21 pounds to be exact. I'm very proud of myself and thankful for God's help in keeping me disciplined.

I still cook everyday for my family and for myself. THIS is one of my greatest challenges ESPECIALLY since I love food and I love to cook! I taste as I go and so it can be hard to put dinner out there when I'm not sure if I have seasoned it correctly. BUT I have used this time to bring my kids into the kitchen more than ever before. This not only keeps me accountable but it teaches them how to cook too!

I can honestly say that at this point I am kinda bored with cooking the same ingredients. Even though I have become very creative and really do enjoy most of what I prepare I am just bored with the same limited ingredients. I DO NOT MIX VEGETABLES AT ALL!!! I say that because many protocols out there allow mixing. They even allow salsa. I really want to finish well and without doubt that I have done everything to the best of my ability.

Another reason I want to stay true is that I have decided to open my own Homeopathic HCG website. I will offer mentoring, recipes, tips, and HCG! This whole opportunity just fell into my lap. I have begun selling bottles and it's flying off the shelves! I am my own walking billboard and so are my clients, sooooo wish me well! You can find me at www.HCGDirectConnection.com.

Having said that, you can all see why I have been so busy but I promise I will be blogging more steadily from now on!

See ya later,
Misty
